If Putin will agree to a fair settlement of the Ukraine war with President Trump, then remove all of the trade sanction on import of Russian goods.
Especially that pertaining to Russian Ammunition, sporting & target arms, and also allow the importation of surplus military weapons.
I have an old 1895 nagant revolver and would love to shoot authentic Soviet era ammunition in it. It is a 7.62x38 R and this caliber is not made in the USA.
Why does not the orange man just remove the sanctions if Putin is cooperative. The war was the cause of the most recent sanctions. PSA-ACC in the USA is trying to make steel case AK ammo and is not doing a good job of it. The Russians have got that down pat.

I suppose I could figure out a way to make the case. The projectiles are the same as used in american cartridges. I would just prefer to buy and not spend a lot of time doing what a factory can do better. I really do not like reloading. It consumes a lot of time and the shooting community would be a lot happier if both Chinese and Russian ammuntion was freely imported again. The Chinese SKS was for a while the rifle of the working class when they were selling for only 100 dollars. There are likely millions of them around the USA now days and hungry for cheap ammo to feed on.
