Healthy sources of meat are a crucial component of nutritious diets, but sadly the majority of our meat comes from factory farmed animals who live in squalor and in constant states of fear. Not only should we put this farming method behind us for the sake of the animals, but the stress, illness, and disease the animals live with in factory farms is being directly cycled into millions of Americans. It is imperative that our new administration prioritizes the health and wellbeing of our livestock by eliminating factory farms and incentivizing pasture-raised, antibiotic-free, humane treatment practices when considering FDA/USDA policy changes.
