Right now as long as cities post water contaminants to the EWG website they are not responsible for any health issues - most Americans don’t know this and just trust the water is safe. My city had 100 X of some cancer causing contaminants and I had no idea. It is not right for each household to have to spend thousands of their hard earned dollars just to be able to safely filter and use water.

My son was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in 2018 at 5 years old. 4 other children from our local school district were diagnosed with cancer in the last 5 or so years. Our water has multiple cancer causing contaminants as high as 234x EWGs safe levels. Some of these contaminants can go through the skin so even if you aren’t drinking the water, you can still be at risk. Ive been trying to bring awareness about this, but haven’t been successful.

I’m so so sorry. Thank you so much for sharing. We just got a whole house filter and it was so expensive - thousands of dollars. We were blessed to be able to afford but so many cannot and are exposed to these terrible contaminants. Let’s hope this gets a lot of votes. Praying for your family.
