I 100% agree with you! I am a huge proponent of Hemp. I wrote President Trump back in 2022 about this “miracle” plant. Farmers who grow hemp claim it is a great rotation crop and can be substituted for almost any harvest. Industrial hemp has long been considered a good rotational crop because of its ability to detoxify and replenish the soil with nutrients from crops that use pesticides, herbicides and fertilizers. It has also been tested with favorable results for phytoremediation in areas where lands are contaminated with various pollutants such as heavy metals, crude oil, chemicals and solvents. On a per-acre basis, one estimate claims hemp nets farmers more income ($250-$300) than either corn or soybeans ($100-$200). A full crop of hemp only takes 90 days to grow, yielding four times more paper per acre, when compared over a similar 20-year period with redwood trees in the northwest United States.
Advocates of hemp claim that it can be used in 25,000 different products, from clothing to food to toiletries. From 1000 B.C. to the nineteenth century, hemp was the world’s largest agricultural crop. The first crop in North America was planted by a French botanist in Nova Scotia in 1606. Thomas Jefferson drafted the United States Declaration of Independence on hemp paper and grew hemp him-self. Two centuries later, the United States and Canada put a stop cannabis cultivation in 1937 with the Marijuana Tax Act (this put a one dollar per ounce tax on any hemp manufacturers), which was later lifted during the World War II effort. Hemp oil could be used to run vehicles but Big Oil couldn’t have that as competition. Just like Big Pharma does not like holistic medicines, they use the government to make laws that favor their corporations. Hemp could revolutionize our country and it will benefit our environment! MAKE HEMP GREAT AGAIN!!!
Maybe the federal government decriminalized hemp and cannabis taxe 10% of national sales, excluding personal use and growth one should be able to have 8 to 10 plants
State government get their share , it all should go against income taxes rest goes to infrastructure just like gas tax
Hi Kendall,
I voted for your proposal because I think it will be critical in our effort to regain a government…“of the People, by the People, and for the People”.
I appreciate your taking the initiative to forward this policy. Hemp is an amazing plant that can support so many new and sustainable products and industries. Legalization and support for its development is long over due.
I’m wondering if you would also take a moment to have a look at my proposal for a Truth and Reconciliation Commission and give it a 'like" if it resonates with you? Truth and Reconciliation Commission.
In my mind, these policies are the only way we will ever get to a full disclosure of the Deep State’s treasonous activities that are responsible for so much of the decline of our sacred Democratic Republic.
And maybe we can work together in some way down the road to merge our efforts in order to bring about these polices?
Thank you so much for being a part of this “Policies for the People” effort. Onward!

I can understand your concern and I meant no deception by reffering to it as hemp. To be honest that is a habit of mine instilled in me by vape and smoke shops. I cant speak for all communities, however, I have very rarely encountered a story where someone smoking made them go out and do crime. There’s almost always another drug or a reason besides the substance itself that motivated them to do crime. I myself use to be very against people smoking and my viewpoint changed around the time I started attending college. My experience with this change was due to seeing how smoking helped those with PTSD, seizures, and cancer primarily, but I also had a couple friends as I got older who liked using it for anxiety or depression. My aim is that if we can start by things such as using hemp plastic, hempcrete, and other industrial uses then maybe the door leading to further understanding will open for those who don’t yet see the benefits besides industrial.
indeed, industrial uses are varied and i acknowledge some medical. the criminal element i speak of is not the users. the criminal element is guns, money, other drugs, prostitution, etc… around here all kinds of people jumped on the idea of becoming a grower and making a quick buck. unfortunately, the crime come with it. we had growers murdered at harvest season. growers murdered after sale of harvest, they even started the crime before the harvest began. another element is the people who are brought in to clean the harvest, they are moving across the country from harvest to harvest and not exactly upstanding citizens. finally the crime of state and federal lands with mexican cartel locating water supplies for the grow, setting up temp shop and polluting the waterways. the citizens who mistakenly wander into these grows are met with assault style arms. you can guess the rest. the people committing these types of crimes are seasoned criminals. many of these murders are never solved. if you live in the city and see smoke shops and dispensary’s, its not like that in the sticks. its a whole different world when people have no cell coverage or internet, no camera and the criminals know it.
personally, i think all drugs should be legalized. it would remove all the money, crime, suffering associated. with one big stipulation. recreational drug use in public is a mandatory jail sentence.
could have a public recreational drug use area in large cities, where people could buy, use and recreate their mind altering drugs to hearts desire. the area would be strictly monitored on coming and goings. security could check each person leaving they are not under the influence. public use of recreational drugs in these area would be permitted. kind of like going to a bar for a drink. these areas would also serve as rehab spots for those who wish a change.
I like this, but as someone who has actually grown it, it is not the miracle plant many make it out to be. It takes an IMMENSE amount of water to properly grow. I hate to say it, but if you could genetically modify it (not for human consumption) to require less water it might be better. Harvesting is extremely difficult on equipment too due to the plants strength. This would require a large effort on big ag to make equipment that could handle these plants.
I can understand that becauseI grew up in a town called Brownwood. I wasn’t there when hemp got where it is now, that said I’ve heard some stories very similar to what you mentioned from different areas of the US. It is my hope that with Trump deporting illegals and the majority of police I see focusing on more violent crime that the chances of a real struggle against crime would be more slim. I believe there’s certainly a reason RFK doesn’t believe in full drug decriminalization or legalization, in that same breath I certainly can see value to the stances he supports in this area. I’m open to any ideas that allow for the benefits to be seen whether thats only industrial or full recreational. That said I have heard the best age would be after brain development, so 25. I’d like to see most things back at 18 again since it is the recognized age of adulthood, but I don’t expect that to be the case as even THC-A is 21+.
rfk is the new health human secretary, announced today. i have some hope things will be improved regarding health. you may see your policy realized. i like 25, seems like a good age to make informed decisions. must insist on keeping all drug use private, too many people zombie up the streets and ruin civility for others. if people want to use publicly then use an area where actions will not affect others negatively. home or a designated public use area. used to be drunks on the streets were scooped up and jailed until sober. not much of that anymore. probably because because too many under the influence they cannot detain them all. very sad.
Hemp growing was encouraged by US govt during war for rope and clothing, but as soon as war was over it was demonized by propaganda as ‘marijuana’ and this idea was promoted by hearst who owned paper pulp businesses. So much info on this if one is interested in knowing the history. Because of money to be made in paper from trees, cotton for clothes, petroleum oil instead of hempseed oil, pharma drugs instead of hemp medicines, and others, hemp has only recently been ‘rediscovered’ as a plant of many uses. During the war, there were corticating machines which have since been destroyed, but with a little economic incentive and no federal restrictions on growing it, we could once again have a thriving hemp industry in the US, and many of its other uses could be uncovered.
If someone has the time.
Please copy over some of the repeated hemp posts to here.
They can also be merged.
The human body’s endocannabinoid system has be massively suppressed in the medical literature, it regulates almost every part of the body and this is the reason you were never taught about it. Pure, unadulterated cannabinoids are a gift from God. In the early Americas, some colonies of legally required to grow hemp. It is most likely the first cultivated crop in human existence. I believe that the suppression of cannabis in the 1900s was the starve the human body of these nutrients. Only after THC-A is heated does it convert to the psychoactive THC, but the other 80+ do not do this, they degrade in the heat. Eating raw cannabis is a dietary staple lost to the human species. There is a short documentary called “Leaf” you can try to find on youtube (hard to find). Thc-a might be converted in the breast milk to THC, but science should be done to establish the effect of all cannabinoids. I believe it is a forgotten superfood of the European ancestral diet.
Sorry for the long shpeel XD
I was curious about this topic and had to look it up, the following is what I found…
Hemp can be used instead of plastic in many applications
Hemp is a sustainable and eco-friendly crop that requires little water, pesticides, or herbicides to grow. Hemp plants also absorb carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, which helps to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
Hemp plastic is biodegradable and compostable, reducing its environmental impact. In ideal conditions, hemp plastic can decompose within several months to a few years.
Hemp plastic is almost four times more durable and five times stronger than traditional plastic.
Hemp plastic can be molded into a wide range of products, including:
- Packaging materials
- Automotive parts
- Construction materials
- Consumer goods like toys, furniture, and electronic casings
- CD and DVD sleeves
- Scooters
- Designer chairs
- Musical instruments
- Door panels and back shelves of cars
Hemp plastic is made by extracting hemp fibers from the stalks of the hemp plant and combining them with a plant-based biopolymer.
Why are we NOT utilizing this sustainable, ozone scrubber?! Holy Hannah!
There are multiple posts about Hemp they should probably be merged.
Most people do not realize that our body has many cannabinoid receptors. We NEED cannabinoids. Our livestock delivered it to us naturally when cannabis/hemp grew in the wild and was eaten by cattle. Then men in suits made it “illegal”. It IS a very valuable medicinal and more plant given to us by our Creator.
The industrial hemp plant is extremely valuable and can be used to replace making plastic from petroleum and keep us from cutting down our forests.
We need to use HEMP instead…to save our environment. Those who oppose this would benefit from in depth research to find the truth.
