I have found many therapist do not accept insurance. I’m told that many insurances don’t want to pay very much so it’s just not accepted. Sounds greedy on both sides. If the insurance pays $100/hr and the therapist wants $200 then that’s complete greed as well as if the insurance only wants to pay $50.
Many people can’t get the help they need due to this issue and I want both therapist, psychologist, psychiatrist, etc. and the insurance companies to made to figure this out so the people can get the help they need.
