I have had arthritis on my left thumb for 4.5 years. Got to the point of finally scheduling surgery at Rush Hospital Chicago. Out of pocket expenses were 1,500.00 for xrays, dr visits etc. For the past 2 years I experienced severe dizziness. As a home inspector this is a problem. 1 ER visit, 18 physical therapy sessions, 2 CT scans, 3 xrays, 2 specialty visits (ENT Doc). Total out of pocket expenses 4,568.00. Both of these issues I had are now gone. All I did was see a CHIROPRACTOR.
Why cannot Chiropractors be a first level of healthcare just like a simple Dr. visit. Most insurance will NOT cover this service until the annual deductible is met.
