I would like to see at minimum 50% of the halfway houses set up for prisoners as a step back into civilization be used for current homeless US Veterans. And to also be used for military retirees to get proper mental healthcare as part of the process for coming back home; especially those that don’t have a home to go back to. PTSD is a very real thing and I think they should have a way to reacclimate back to civilian life, as well.
