The Govt should not be in the student loan business…also no subsidizing or forgiving student loans at the taxpayers expense! Many employers offer educational assistance…people need to work for their education, not party on campus and burden others with their expense!
When I went to a University, tuition was $254 per semester. The government got into the student loan and Pell Grant business and now prices per semester are in the multiple thousands. This is the same thing that happened to prices in the medical industry when the government decided to help and created Medicaid and Medicare and allowed in insurers.
