Government Efficiency and Transparency Tracking

The federal government should establish a publicly accessible website detailing how taxpayer money is allocated. This platform will give full transparency to the American people. It will provide:

  1. Expenditure Tracking: A clear breakdown of funds spent, specifying the programs or initiatives they are allocated to and the total costs associated.

  2. Return on Investment Analysis: Assessment metrics evaluating whether each program yields an appropriate return on investment (ROI), factoring in economic, social, and operational benefits.

  3. Program Reevaluation: A mechanism for identifying underperforming programs and redirecting funds toward initiatives that demonstrate higher effectiveness and tangible benefits for the American people.

The policy will focus on two main goals:

Transparency: Ensuring that taxpayers understand where their money goes and how it impacts the nation.

Efficiency: Redirecting funds from low-performing initiatives to programs that bolster economic growth, improve public services, and address pressing societal needs.

This approach empowers citizens with knowledge, encourages governmental accountability, and optimizes resource allocation to prioritize the well-being of the American people.

I believe every dollar spent from any and all government agencies, excluding some national security concerns, should be put on a public ledger, for all American citizens to see where our tax dollars are going and being wasted, the private sector does this easily with a simple spreadsheet, Having been in purchasing, I could tell you where I spent a dollar for a bolt in prior years and show that I got prices from five different vendors and received the best price and quality for money spent. The private sector values a dollar for its bottom line unlike others
