Get Rid of Planned Obsoletion, build quality products

If concern for our environment were truly an issue…why are appliances and other products made so we need to buy new often? Why do refrigerators last less than 10 years? That said, please create a policy that encourages our manufacturers to create quality, lasting products that won’t end up in garbage dumps.
