Make more money available for Meals on Wheels so more, and higher quality, meals could be delivered to America’s homebound elderly. Meals on Wheels provides a well-check and a friendly face daily but supply is limited so much that many who really need it cannot be served.

As Mayor Pro Tem for my city, we are forced into an uncomfortable situation right now as funding for MOW was reduced and we had to remove people from the program or use or own limited funds to underwrite the program.
With an aging population and the current inflation we need more, not less, support for this program. Keeping Seniors in their houses creates less burden on the city and a better quality of life for them.
