Fruit and Vegetables can be grown in designated areas around the Counties. Grown on roof tops, grounds such as parks, school grounds, roofs, basements. Government building aren’t being used, a waste of space and taxes, this alone will give back some to the tax payers. Plant fruit trees around the Cities/Counties. Teach classes on how to grow our own small gardens. How to prevent small animals from getting in, but give them their own open area they can eat from. Put out fruit and vegetables daily for them. Why deprive them, that’s what’s being done to us. There is enough for all of us, It’s the greedy people who make us feel like we aren’t deserving of fresh fruit and vegetables, only at a ridicules price. Most fresh food goes to waste in grocery stores because of the price and or it’s not any good. Stop with all the money hungry agenda ideas and help the hungry and low income people instead. We can do better. We need to do better !!!

This is a bad idea at the federal level, IMO.
It would be better to absolutely slash federal taxes so the people would be independently more prosperous, and anything like this could grow bottom-up. Ideally as voluntary mutual aid societies (which actually existed prior to FDR), or as local government programs.
