Food for the People

I do not think foreigners should be able to own farmland especially in such large quantities in our country. I don’t think there’s very many other countries that allow this. China owns a great deal of acreage in the United States especially close to military bases. How did this ever happen? I also think there should be some regulations on people like Bill Gates being able to buy such huge quantity of acreage with his known agenda of depopulation, GMO, mosquito research, and harmful vaccines. Between him and China they could easiest starve us all. I believe Bill Gates has already been taken care of but if he has not he would be it the top of my list for Gitmo and the seizing of all his assets.

So much needs to be done in providing our children with healthy nutritional lunches. I totally agree with more education on nutrition in schools. Children that are taught early will be our insurance policy for this not happening again.

I am a Master Gardener in Florida and I know they are better and more natural methods of farming without using pesticides and the poisons we’ve been putting on our food for decades. I am thrilled that we are finally going to do something about this. I am a total proponent of farmer’s markets and homegrown vegetables. I have been canning and preserving
my own food for the last 4 years as well as growing my own garden and fruit trees.

I was appalled recently to learn our city council had decided unanimously to put fluoride in our city water. I am so thankful to know that we will be stopping that soon.

We have a mammoth job in front of us but I also know America has some brilliant minds who can bring our country back to what our founding fathers wanted. Thanks so much for starting this forum.

Enough of this corporate garbage food policies! If the low information degenerates that have infested the federal government did not know! People have succeeded and thrived on raw milk from the beginning of the human race to present day but we are forced to drink the adulterated, nutritionally dead (why its shelf stable now days) trash called milk damaging peoples health!

trade it to the neighbors. thats what we do. no exchange of money. at minimum get a hog and you will have a delicious bacon. i would love to trade your raw milk for some garden veggies. no laws here for trading. but yes, laws need changed to empower local producers of food.

Agreed - we also should use some marketing and advertising towards farms who provide CSA shares / give more exposure to them and how people can help or purchase through them. Localharvest.com is a great resource but more people should know about it so they can more easily and readily locate these farms and their local farmers’ markets, etc.

Great contribution.

thinking the local farmers dont know about localharvest.com. i live in a very fertile area with lots of farms. i never heard of it till present discussion. when i went to the website, there is one farmer listed for my area. i know there are hundreds maybe thousands in my area.

The idea of di-centralizad from government agencies is a necessary step to really empower people in any aspect of society

Farmers should be allowed to sell directly to the public if they so choose without all the regulations. I want the right to choose, I can determine if the animals are healthy and well cared for don’t need a government to tell me that. Considering our USDA has done a great job at allowing poison’s. I defiantly don’t trust them or FDA anywhere near our food supply. I’m a grown adult with my own eyes and brain. I make my own decisions. I think we would all be better off not having people control our food. We the people should should have all GOD given rights to all food period. LESS The Poison’s of course

This is RFK’s part but whatever people put on the veggies they do not last long and that means it’s bad for us. You can soak your fruit in vinegar and you can see the stuff come off. The sprays have to stop.

Separate SNAP or any other Government sponsored assistance from Farming Bill. Require couples to demonstrate marriage license when living in the same home receiving separate benefits to raise the amount. This would eliminate a small amount of food assistance fraud. This is done to simply list one income. There also needs to be a cross check of application earnings to the IRS as it is often inaccurate on purpose. A couple could continue to remain unmarried but not confer receive benefits for themselves or children in the house. This has long been abused and erode family values. This should apply to all benefits to include daycare or housing subsidies.

Given the benefits of a ketogenic diet, increase subsidies for ruminant livestock. The USDA provides financial assistance and subsidies to farmers to stabilize agricultural markets and ensure food security. Increasing subsidies for small farmers to raise ruminant livestock such as grass-fed, grass-finished cattle and sheep to ensure a robust supply of healthy meats is needed.

Well Amen! (Though, I raise grass-fed beef and lamb so perhaps I am a tad biased on this one…)

I am supportive of all the above. In addition, I would create a Farmer Repurpose Your Land grant. This will provide the farmer adequate security to make the necessary changes to their farming approach and transition processes. This is substantial, including what is needed to heal soil, rotation capacity, nontoxic pest control and first and foremost non GMO seeds.

100 percent this year I had over 20 jars or pasta sauce and tomato sauce with a tiny garden. It is one thing I wont be buying at the grocery

I think food standards should be made mandatorily organic in the US. We should overhaul the USDA organic standards to exactly match the Real Organic Project standards, found here: Real Organic Farming - Real Organic Project , and then make our entire food supply chain adhere to those standards if they want to sell to consumers. I think this would also solve a lot of our porblems with animal abuse in the animal busbandry industry.

Excellent summary. Ditto to all. One thing i don’t see addressed here is geoengineering and its toxic fallout, poisonong our water and soil, causing root shut down and infusing nanoplastics into it all. GMO’s were created in tandem with the wide rollout of weather making techniques, knowing full well that organic crops eventually will not grow well any more. This is not to defend GMO’s, but to condemn geoengineering. Our regenerative farming efforts will be greatly hindered as long as toxic geoengineering programs continue.

I have always been the canary in the coal mine…

One Time someone told me “You can’t make people eat healthy and grow gardens…” Yet, over the past decades the industry has made food addictive, toxic and with targeted psychological marketing to create the worst health crisis in history… while lobbyist and the FDA cleared a path for the destruction- over 50% of kids are obese, over 50% of the population has chronic or auto-immune disease from being poisoned by food sold to them!

I tired to tell them for four years about what was coming, based on this youtube-

GMO and Glyphosate Dr. Zach Bush-

Then I kept trying to improve Safety and Health, which I broke every safety record in company history! Wanting to expand my trends in health and safety, company and State wide!

But no matter what they did to me and my family, there is the clear and present danger to food companies and the current corporate models, it is Make America Healthy Again. I was MAHA before MAHA and you completely ignored- What is Health and Make America Healthy Again!

My advice to food companies is Mia Culpa and listen to me.

The Facts: over 50% of your products (Ultra-Processed Food) are toxic to humans, made to be addictive and a major contributing factor to the human health decline. These chemicals in food are illegal in most other countries… and designed for profit vs health and human prosperity.

Listen to this congressional hearing about the state of health in the USA-

It starts around 30 min…

and RFKJr exit speech-

These exact conversations are what I was trying to have with them for over four years!

I am ready to help food companies get through the next rough waters and the revolution of food and health… Live up to your brand “Here Everything is Better” well, let’s work on making it better and best! Get ahead of this (five years ago…plant the tree today…) and set an example for grocery and corporate America.

I am more than happy to come present to Sr Leaders about what is about to happen to the industry. Then hire me back as a consultant and MAHA Ambassador

This is going to hurt food companies and all stores I warned about for four years… There is a major shift coming, getting all the toxins out of our food and water…

Let me help guide through these uncharted waters and Make Texas Healthy Again!

Solutions:

  1. Cancel all orders of ultra processed food and toxic foods

  2. RE-Order as many products as possible that are available that are sent to Europe and other countries that are non-toxic

  3. Start a massive marketing and education program to educate your market on food, health, food safety, the future of food, knowing where your food comes from…

  4. Create a network and organize all farms and real food producers in your market and rate them as 1. Corporate/ GMO/ Industrial Farms. 2. Non-GMO farms. 3. Traditional/ Family owned farms. 4. Regenerative or progressive non-toxic farming. 5. Urban/ Hydroponic/ Non Traditional progressive farming

  5. Create community centers/ farm to markets/ community connections to promote local food systems, re- education around food, support systems around food and community, creation of local food systems…

I don’t believe this is possible at present – we don’t produce enough organic food to feed our country, and it takes years to certify soils as organic. This would also put many large farms into bankruptcy. And as a farmer, I take exception to the phrase “animal husbandry industry” – it is oxymoronic. Proper animal husbandry is not industrial… Thanks for commenting!

I agree 100%. I have met/talked to many farmers who do want desperately to get off the BiG Ag/Tech train and grow healthy food, but they are trapped and cannot get out of their contracts: in particular, gmo seeds/argh! They want to fix their soil and get off the chem ferts. Innovation is there to help make this all happen. I am expecting the USDA under Trump and with the help from Bobby, to get things right for all. Joel is involved as well/I really am optimistic for our future. We need to keep up the FIGHT!

Do you think it’s at all OK for foriegners to own land in the US?

We just elected a pres. that bucks the downward trends, was also able to salvage the house and senate. So let’s look at it for what it is, a MANDATE with a Trifecta. Let’s look at it as we have 4 years to get decades and decades of bad policy reversed…in 4 years. Let’s not waste time trying to to be polite when the other side wouldn’t. Strike while the iron’s hot.
