Simplify the tax code with a flat tax and protect the homes of citizens who have pay so many other taxes. A 15% flat invome tax for all compensated by a higher corporate tax of 20%. In addition eliminate the property taxes at the age of retirement levied on primary residences because it is a very high burden on retirees living on small incomes. Our federal and state governments would have to act responsibly with the monies of the people, prioritize the issues requiring funding and learn to budget.
