Create a flat rate federal income tax for every citizen. For example, every single citizen would pay a 10% flat rate income tax. This ensures that everyone pays their fair share and eliminates loopholes for ridiculous tax write offs. It would potentially help strengthen the middle class and could help shrink the IRS which would cut federal spending dramatically. It would also greatly simplify tax filling potentially saving taxpayers millions of dollars and time. Small businesses would benefit greatly which could help lead to higher wages for employees.

I have always thought this was a GREAT idea. Everyone should have skin in the game. You could even have a “degressive” tax rate at poverty level and lower, but EVERYONE should have to pay SOMEthing
