Department of Homeland Security (DHS) released a Aug24 report detailing the sponsor’s of 291,000 unaccompanied migrant children (UC’s) could not be contacted, failed to appear, or have not interacted with the courts on behalf of those children. Thus, nobody can confirm anything about there whereabouts or safety; specifically from trafficking, exploitation, or forced labor.
