Proposal of increasing and allocating proper State and Federal Grants to Veterinary Hospitals, Emergency Clinics, County Animal Detention Centers / Animal Control, along with Animal Sanctuaries and other approved private wellness practices. Will be used to help increase pay for employees, help with staffing issues, improve incentives for adoption, volunteer and fostering opportunities, proper care of detained, injured and sick animals, support affordability of novel medicines and use of state of the art surgical technologies for pet parents, and assist with supplying said medications and technologies to clinics nationwide. Supporting the construction and upgrade of infrastructure for existing clinics, agencies, sanctuaries and other practices to support growing populations and increasing need for care.
Lowering the cost of education for Veterinary Doctors and Surgeons, across all fields of study, including alternative medicine. Offering more classes and specialty veterinary programs in universities nationwide to allow pet parents local access to groundbreaking treatment and surgery options that usually presents a barrier due to the distance needed to travel and extraordinary costs.
Offering financial assistance for pet parents in order to meet the high costs of veterinary care, establishing a payment system that is secured by the State and Federal Treasury, or appropriate apparatus.
Creating incentives for companies and private individuals to sponsor said clinics and locations, beyond the allocations from NGO and private organizations. Auditing Federal, State and Private agencies involved in animal and wildlife welfare such as USDA, PETA, ASPCA, WWF, HSUS for proper allocation of donations to said clinics, hospitals, sanctuaries, private practices and universities.
Assisting pet insurance companies with providing lower rates to customers. Creating healthier competition between companies and easing risk taken on by companies for new clients with pets with pre-existing conditions.
