Federal judges should be accountable for bad judgments. If a judge is found violating a constitutional right of a citizen he/she should be fired. If a judge keeps getting overturned on appeal he/she should be fired. They are paid by taxpayers and should be accountable to taxpayers. They have more job security than anyone in government and this needs to change. They have to much power with limited to no oversight or mechnism to assure citizens are getting what they are paying for. Poor performers should be fired.
Although it is rare, Federal judges can be removed by impeaching them. Similar to impeaching other Government employees, both the House and Senate need to agree with the Senate needing a 2/3 vote.
" The last judge to be convicted in an impeachment trial was Gabriel Thomas Porteous Jr., who was removed from the bench in 2010. Porteous previously served in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana.
The House voted unanimously to advance four articles: “engaging in a pattern of conduct incompatible with serving as a federal judge, engaging in a longstanding pattern of corrupt conduct, knowingly and intentionally making false statements under penalty of perjury, and knowingly making material false statements about his past to both the Senate and the FBI to obtain a federal judgeship.”
There is a reason Judges are not elected. Voters are fickle and most of the time do not have all of the facts.

That makes some sense. There should also be a provision for empeachment on poor performers. Federal district court judges not enjoy the same or more security in their jobs as supreme court judges, senators, representatives, or the president. My aggregation comes from this judge impedeing the president from doing the job he was voted to do while they did nothing stopping Joe Biden from flying in illegals. There should also be a provision for these judges to be fired for partisan acts. They nor their families should be able to contribute to a political party. Thry can vote and that should be it.

I totally understand your concerns, I have them also. “Someone” has been after President Trump consistently for almost 10 years. At this point it would take a Constitutional Amendment to change the Judicial Branch. Maybe something like the only people who can “judge” the President or Congress is the Supreme Court, and lower level Judges who have concerns must appeal to the Supreme Court first and have them rein in the President or Congress.
