Animal cruelty and abuse should be recognized as a federal offense to ensure consistent and serious consequences across all states. Animals are living beings capable of feeling pain, fear, and suffering, and they deserve legal protection from neglect, torture, and exploitation. By making animal cruelty a federal crime, we not only send a clear message that such behavior is unacceptable, but we also empower law enforcement to take stronger, more coordinated action against offenders. This step would also help prevent other forms of violence, as studies have shown a strong link between animal abuse and violent crimes against humans. It’s time we take a firm stand to protect the voiceless and hold abusers fully accountable.

We have to include veterinary malpractice as animal abuse! The administration of potentially lethal medical treatments, namely vaccines including “mandated” rabies vaccines without informed consent that can likely lead to death and chronic lifelong illness should be considered animal abuse because the animals have no say and shouldn’t be subjected to the harms caused by them!
