It is a parent’s responsibility to protect their children. It is a man’s responsibility to protect his wife. For too long there has been a legal wall protecting criminals and punishing people who protect their family.
It’s no secret today’s system is broken. There should never be a time where a father has to question whether or not he is allowed to protect his family from harm. Aaron Spencer, in Little County, Arkansas is one example. This man tracked his abducted daughter down and rescued her from her kidnapper, who clearly had no intention of letting her live. He killed the kidnapper during the rescue, as the kidnapper was actively restraining Aaron’s daughter. Aaron is now in jail, awaiting a second degree manslaughter charge. The kidnapper was awaiting trial for the SA ofAaron’s Daughter when this incident occurred.
