I am proposing that mental health providers and the insurance/healthcare agencies that pay them are reformed. We currently have a mental health epidemic in the United States and Mental Health Providers are severely overworked and underpaid. Improving pay would improve quality of life and ability to pay for student loans and would encourage more people to go into the field. Currently many therapists have wait lists and it is difficult for patients to find providers that are available, especially in highly populated states.
