End Social Security

In the past our leaders have used our social security system as a piggy bank for shortfalls in funding they considered important. Plus that money is never invested and allowed to grow. I think instead of social security we should have a system similar to I think it is Costa Rica that you must save a percentage of your income for your retirement. You can invest it however you want to but you must save the money. Of course we need something for the people now who paid into the system we have now. Some way to phase out the existing program for those who are young and have time to save. If we did it this way people would have a much greater return on their investment. Now people don’t even get the amount that was paid into the system. Never mind the loss of all the money that could have been earned investing it. Social Security is set to go broke so this is important to figure out!
