This is one of my top grievances! Why do people who dont have to pay get to vote for me to pay for their services? I did everything I could to ensure that I can afford to live when I get old. My husband and I bought property and built a house with our own hands. We even hand cut each board for the siding at our Amish friends primitive woodshop. No electricity or gas was used. We literally hand cut each board. What does the county auditor say about this? Its custom!!! Now I have to pay more in property taxes because we hand cut each board. This system is infuriating! Social society, that Iā€™ve payed into my entire life but wont ever receive, wouldnā€™t even cover my property taxes. Especially in 20-25 years from now. Either everybody pays for 911, fire depts & schools or nobody pays. Thatā€™s what is fair.

I would start with the seniors and people that retire starting at 62. The first time home buyers will not pay property taxes for the first 5 years of buying the house that way they can increase their savings or spend it on the economy as they wish . This is something that should start slowly like this and if we pay property taxes we can put the contribution where we want those taxes to go.

Iā€™ve seen more useless, bloated, unnecessary expenditures and projects in the last 4 years in my community than EVER BEFORE! Itā€™s NOT just roads, bridges, fire, and police. Itā€™s millions in roundabouts, unnecessary new school additions and facilities, rather than remodels, or preserving good historical buildings, and who knows how many public funds got sunk into medical infrastructure suspiciously prior to covid, and any number of other local projects that siphon tax dollars with no input, or vote from the public. Our public works departments now have the biggest, fanciest, most expensive equipment, paying staff the fattest salaries than ever before, and our roads are still crap. They waste money and resources after storms cutting down trees, I mean clearcutting, and THEN spending even MORE time, resources, and money on ā€œgreenā€ projects like tree replanting programs, in all the residential areas the clear-cut almost EVERYTHING to the ground. Iā€™m talking about areas with storm damage of only about 20%.

Thatā€™s only a portion of gov waste.

If they have it, they will spend it! And so so much of it is pork barrel waste. Why has government gotten so big and unresponsive, and unaccountable? This is how. Time to cut their allowance.

Yes, this would all change if we abolished the US corporation, restored the Bill of Rights and Constitution. No income taxes either, true freedom. Enforce the Bill of Rights and Constitution

Or put a time limit on how long you pay property tax

Houses in our community are very unique in a small town, small lots and the average house is selling for 500.00 just so they can flip it into the saturated an Airbnb community, its really disgusting. END PROPERTY TAXES NOW!!!

True, but only for a limited amount of property per person, say the first 5 acres.

Do you really want Bill Gates to own 250,000 acres (he does) and pay no taxes on it?

Absolutely! In a sense, that is actually a ā€œprogressiveā€ idea, because weā€™ve lived under the same old system where peopleā€™s houses and farms have been taken because of taxes. I also canā€™t stand the threat of FORCE that lies behind not paying taxes.

This is an awesome program. I love this. I donā€™t think we should have to pay property taxes on property that we own. the property is already ours- - why pay taxes on it? makes no sense. Iā€™m totally for this.

This is so important. You cannot own anything that the government can tax. If they tax it they can take it. This is a tool for the globalist to achieve the ā€œyouā€™ll own nothing and be happyā€ Property taxes is theft

Yes because they take up so much money and by that time most people with no jobs are homeless

This is the only correct answer. I urge people to research what their property taxes are paying for. Your property taxes stay within your local area, and pay for services like the your Sheriffā€™s Office (and thus your county detention centers), your fire protection districts, they may pay for your local 9-1-1 and dispatch centers, services like libraries are often county administered, maintenance of county roads, and more.

You would be reducing your own quality of life if you did not pay your taxes for these things, and none of your FICA or state taxes are going toward this. The poster mentions paying off a house, but continuing to owe. Imagine paying off a house and retiring, only to find that no ambulance is coming when you have a medical issue. This could be a reality for many rural communities who donā€™t live close enough to a large hospital who administers their own ambulatory services. Many of these communities pay into a Fire Protection District which includes those services.

The right to travel is hotly resisted by local authorities. They swear up and down it is ia ā€œprivilegeā€ but refuse to look at all the court cases proving otherwise.

I disagree. Especially with police. Do you realize how much money they make off the citizens throught their tickets and fines?

[Common Law Traffic Binder]

https://constitutionallawcoalition.com/

The purpose of this Traffic Binder is to ensure that you are fully prepared and equipped with all the necessary documentation, organized in a manner that allows for quick and easy access when you are stopped while traveling in your automobile. This binder is designed to provide you with everything you need to confidently navigate any encounter with law enforcement, ensuring you have all pertinent information at your fingertips and that you know exactly what to say in such situations. It is crucial to familiarize yourself with the contents of these documents, as understanding them empowers you to effectively assert your rights. Knowledge of your rights as a living, breathing individual and as an American is a powerful tool. It is essential that you carry this Traffic Binder with you whenever you are traveling in your automobile, as it serves as your safeguard in ensuring that you are prepared for any situation. Additionally, itā€™s important to be aware that displaying a LICENSE plate on your vehicle signifies that you are engaged in commerceā€”transporting goods or people from one place to another in exchange for compensation. However, if you are merely traveling for personal reasons, such as going to the grocery store or visiting family, this does not constitute commerce. By removing the LICENSE plate from your automobile, you are effectively placing yourself outside the jurisdiction of maritime/admiralty law, which governs commercial activities involving the movement of cargo. As a living, breathing individual, your actions are governed by common law, as enshrined in the Constitution of the United States of America. Understanding this distinction is vital for maintaining your autonomy and ensuring that your rights are upheld during any encounters with law enforcement while traveling.

The Common Law Traffic Binder is 202 pages packed with vital information on our common law rights as they pertain to the Constitution of the United States of America. This comprehensive binder serves as a crucial resource for anyone seeking to understand and assert their rights, particularly when it comes to the matter of traveling versus ā€œdriving.ā€ Inside the Traffic Binder, we meticulously document key cases that have reached the U.S. Supreme Court over the years. These landmark decisions consistently affirm that a traveler who is NOT engaged in COMMERCE DOES NOT NEED a ā€œDRIVERā€™S LICENSEā€ and similarly, a traveler who is NOT involved in ā€œCOMMERCEā€ DOES NOT need to register their automobile. Despite these clear rulings, law enforcement officers continue to stop and issue citations to people for jurisdictional statutory laws that do not apply to those who are NOT conducting ā€œCOMMERCE.ā€

One of the most significant challenges we face is the widespread misunderstanding of the difference between ā€œDRIVINGā€ and traveling. Approximately 95% of the population remains unaware of this crucial distinction, and as a result, many individuals unknowingly surrender their rights during traffic stops. The Common Law Traffic Binder is specifically designed to bridge this knowledge gap, empowering individuals with the tools and understanding necessary to safeguard their freedoms. It will guide you through the complexities of the law and ensure that you are fully prepared for any potential encounter with law enforcement.

The Traffic Binder is more than just a collection of legal casesā€”it is a practical tool that equips you with all the necessary documentation, organized in an efficient, easy-to-navigate format. This allows for quick access when youā€™re on the road, so if youā€™re ever stopped while traveling in your automobile, you can confidently present the legal facts and protect your rights. Whether youā€™re facing an unwarranted traffic stop or simply want to educate yourself on your rights, the Common Law Traffic Binder will serve as an invaluable resource in your efforts to stand up for your constitutional freedoms.

In regard to ending property taxes, I would like to see allodial titles available again for the land we own. Currently, there are only two states in America where allodial titles are available: Nevada and Texas. For those who donā€™t know, allodial title represents a form of land ownership that is free from any superior landlord or government authority, meaning the owner has absolute rights to the property without obligations such as property taxes.

The concept of allodial titles, which allows for absolute ownership of land free from the claims of any superior landlord or governmental authority, is a compelling alternative to the current system of property taxes that many property owners find burdensome and unjust. The reintroduction of allodial titles across the United States presents a revolutionary opportunity to transform the landscape of land ownership, fundamentally altering the relationship between individuals and the state. Currently, only Nevada and Texas acknowledge allodial titles, creating a stark contrast to the majority of states where property taxes are an inevitable reality that can place significant financial strain on homeowners and landowners alike. The idea that individuals can possess their land unencumbered by the threat of taxation is not merely an economic consideration; it speaks to a deeper philosophical principle of personal freedom and autonomy over oneā€™s property. Historically, allodial titles trace their roots back to feudal systems, where land was often held under the auspices of a lord or monarch, with subjects obligated to pay taxes or tribute. In stark contrast, allodial ownership empowers individuals, granting them complete control and absolute rights to their land, thereby eliminating the perpetual obligations that property taxes impose. This shift could stimulate economic growth by providing landowners with increased financial security and the freedom to invest in their properties without the looming fear of tax hikes or penalties. Moreover, it would encourage responsible stewardship of the land, as owners would be more inclined to maintain and improve their properties, knowing they are not subject to the whims of government taxation policies. The movement towards reinstating allodial titles nationwide could potentially spark a broader dialogue on property rights and individual liberty in America, challenging the status quo and advocating for a system that honors the foundational principles of ownership and sovereignty. By pursuing the establishment of allodial titles, we can reclaim a sense of independence and agency in our lives, allowing us to cultivate our land without the incessant burden of taxation, thereby affirming the notion that true ownership means having the freedom to enjoy and utilize property without external interference or obligation.
