End private military contract manufacturing. We need to build out public arms manufacturing domestically, creating jobs and securing our supply lines from foreign supply chain shifts. Private military arms manufacturing is incompatible with the free market and encourages war. These arms can and should be manufactured by the government so there isn’t a much pressure to create demand to meet supply. Military contractors can then pivot to other industries that are more advantageous to our nation’s economic growth.
