Mobile home owners at this time are required to pay DMV registration fees and licensing fees that can cost upwards of over $1,000 a year. These mobile homes do not move if they are moved they are charged extra. These are homes that are in a permanent spot. The only cost for DMV registration and licensing should be when they are moved to a new location. This is double taxation on these homes. This is money that these owners can use to make improvements on their homes and on the property surrounding them.
