End Debanking

“A banking institution that partakes in the FDIC deposit insurance program must allow membership to all citizens regardless of affiliation.”

Debanking can be used to silence individuals or groups whose views or activities are unpopular or politically controversial. In a free society, people should be able to express their beliefs, even if they are unpopular, without fear of losing essential services like banking. Otherwise, financial institutions become gatekeepers of acceptable thought and behavior.

If an individual or entity has the funds to open an account, they should be able to.

The only reason to close an account without consent of the member would be insolvency.

Law enforcement can still freeze, confiscate or perform other actions as is proper and legal
