Fund managers that hold trillions of dollars of US citizens investments, are currently allowed to vote at board meetings with all the leverage accrued by those investments. This has turned into a travesty as woke managers have pushed DEI policies and other policies not based on merit or even the companies financial interest.
We need a law that removes this authority and passes all the voting power back to individual investors, not their investment managers. This would go a long way to removing the outsized power wielded by these financial institutions.
