Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) can be dangerous and cause:
-Stomach cancer
-Internal bleeding
-Chronic gastritis, stomach ulcers, and rarely, stomach tumors.
Symptoms of H. pylori include:
- A burning feeling in the upper stomach, like heartburn
- Indigestion or feeling full before finishing eating
- Nausea and vomiting
- Bloating
- Bloody stools, which can appear dark and tarry
Health department should constantly encourage people to do breathing test or stool test for H. pylori.
Most people infected with h pylori have no problems. However, some people develop problems such as chronic gastritis or stomach ulcers.
I think it’s super important to go to the doctor and check your stool just because. That is exactly what I did. I have never heard about H pylori in my life until i decided to check my stool. I did not have any severe symptoms, I just decided to check it for no reason. They found H pylori in my stool. If I never did it , i don’t know how much this bacteria would progress during my lifetime and if i would get ulcer.
You don’t need to wait when you have blood in your stool or sever symptoms and then go, you can prevent serious disease before it start progressing , just by be more cautious about your health in general.
