Section 2: Definitions
**Assistance: Any form of federal or state support, including financial aid, food assistance, housing assistance, and health care.
- Eligible Individual: A U.S. citizen who is employed full-time (minimum average of 30 hours per week) and is paid on a regular payment schedule(weekly, bi-weekly, monthly).
- Exceptions: Individuals who may receive assistance despite not meeting the employment criteria.
Section 3: Eligibility Criteria
Employment Requirement: Federal and state assistance shall be granted only to eligible individuals who are employed full-time on a regular payment schedule(weekly, bi-weekly, monthly).
Exceptions:
- Assistance may be provided to:
- Full-time students enrolled in accredited educational programs.
- Individuals with disabilities that prevent them from maintaining full-time employment.
- Primary caregivers who are unable to work due to caregiving responsibilities.
- Individuals temporarily unable to work due to unforeseen circumstances, such as medical issues or layoffs, for a defined duration.
Section 4: Implementation

- Recipients must provide documentation of citizenship, employment status and income, with regular verification required to maintain eligibility.
- Support Services:
- States must offer resources and programs to assist eligible individuals in finding employment and accessing job training.
Section 5: Review and Reporting
An annual report will be submitted to Congress detailing the impact of this law on employment rates and assistance program utilization.
Section 6: Effective Date
- This law will take effect six months after passage
