I propose creating a national banking system thay utilizes the fractional reserve banking system to fund our government.
All banks are fdic insured, meaning all funds
in banks are guarenteed by our government already. Why shouldnt the people benefit from the profit that this system creates?
We could eliminate the federal reserve while maintaining the ability to react quickly to emergencies. Rather than putting our money to work creating money for bankers, we could be putting our money to work for the people, all while serving the same roll that the banks serve businesses and people currently.
Im aware of the dangers involved, yet i feel that the government is already waist deep involved with EVERY aspect of the fractional Reserve banking system. That is every aspect of it except the profits.
Regulation would have to be created that would eliminate the pitfalls of this type of idea. My hope is I can give the broad strokes and others can help me to create the details necessary or tell me why this would not work and we can have a discussion about it.
