As of current, to be on long-term Medicaid with a terminal illness, Medicaid has interest on estate recovery due to insufficient income/funds. No citizen should have their house or property seized for asking for help for a loved one with long-term disease or terminal illnesses that have paid taxes for the majority of their lives.
