Our military service members sign a blank check when they join the service to protect our country with their lives. In return, our country promises them a retirement check if they survive and stay for 20+ years. However, as thanks for their service, the same govt then takes back a good percentage of this retirement back in income tax. This is a disgrace to those offered all to protect our country.
