The federal government has no business running hospitals and physicians offices! Either allow veterans to choose their own private providers and VA pay for the healthcare, similar to Medicare/Medicaid, or hire VA Health contractors. The current system, consisting of medical beaurocrats who are only concerned with doing as little as possible until retiring, must be replaced with a system which prioritizes veterans health and is not run by government employees.
