Election Day

Election Day should be a national holiday and all schools, colleges, trade schools should be closed.
All states need voter ID. Voter registration should be cleaned up. You die you are removed.

Physicians are essential and can’t miss work for a proposed National Election Day. Offer ONE day on a weekend prior to the election as an alternate day to vote.

YES I AGREE. More People Would Vote Not Having To Worry About Work🇺🇸

I agree, make it a holiday, ID, and on paper with a number for easy counting. Have the vote centers open from midnight to midnight.

Agree. But to qualify voters must provide PROOF of voting to their employers. Alternative early voting days can be offered in place of mail in voting.

Voters MUST show documentation of participate in basic voter education by both parties, so that they have a bit of information prior to voting.

Agree with election day to be a national holiday, but voting should be offered for the full 24 hours to accommodate people who work odd hours and long lines.

@Mkupecz I think you should modify the description to indicate only single day voting and only military mail in ballots.

Matthew, I totally agree. Besides the Military for mail in ballots. Maybe include people that are bedridden or in the hospital and can’t leave. Atleast people are talking about what we want and letting the government know what we want

I’m sympathetic to bed ridden but personally I think that health exceptions is a slippery slope for abuse like what happened in covid where any health concern was acceptable. Immunocompromised? mail in. Influenza season? mail in. Allergies? mail in. Maybe nursing home or hospice could be a good compromise.

Agree. No excuse not to vote!

It’s not imperative that every citizen votes, in fact citizens who make no effort to understand the candidates and issues should not vote. Especially those who will only cast a vote for a ballot harvester or at the request of another. We have to eliminate the ability of massively-funded political operatives to harvest ballots in anyway, shape or form.

Require a signed affidavit as part of a request for an absentee ballot with a limited number of reasons considered legitimate for not voting in person. Include ID verification. Cut off requests for absentee ballots at least two weeks before voting.

This must happen!

Yes they can.

I would add a DEADLINE for states to report their ballot counts, eliminating “found ballot” shenanigans.

If a count is not in by the deadline, it’s disqualified. PERIOD. Make the states figure out how to comply. And if they don’t, TFB.

Every state should require:

  • proof of citizenship & photo identification to register to vote
  • all ballots, for in person & mail-in voting, should be submitted on standardized & specifically provided watermarked paper to be considered legal; thus preventing the ease of making unauthorized copies that may be illegally submitted, especially for absentee & mail-in ballots
  • proper photo identification to be required at all voting sites before voting takes place

100% agree!

Yes…
1 day voting as a national holiday
Mail in only on very limited basis that can be verified
Only paper ballots, which must have a NATIONAL standard with bar code that can’t be duplicated
All counting must be completed and certified by end of election day or no later than noon on second. This can be debated.
NO LATE COUNTING EVER ACCEPTED
every paper ballot has a scanned image, like checks at banks
Must ALWAYS show approved ID before being given your ballot
