EBT cards currently only allow for food purchase. I feel it should allow you to purchase paper products, soap, deodorant, laundry supplies and other household and personal items. Currently those things have to be paid for with cash. Most people don’t have that extra cash. In PA, they don’t get cash assistance anymore. They could even only allow certain items, similar to WIC checks where the shelf is marked with allowable items.

Block cheese & powder milk type stuff! I work my but off and can’t afford the steaks and lobsters these people are buying !
