I think it would be great if we could create a means for employees to contribute out of their income, pre-tax, with a match from their employer, to an account to fund a partial or full payment for a primary residence home (or possibly any type of real estate). Could extend it to cover ongoing mortgage payments pre-tax as well. For folks that don’t want to risk their retirement in the market, this could be a great alternative. Let’s give employees and employers more flexibility with respect to how and where to use their money and attracting and retaining talent.
