Tie any aid to CA to Inmproving voter Integrity and making sure Voter ID is implemented!! Stop letting CA elections be rigged!! CA WILL TURN RED! -From a CA resident
While I agree that California voting laws need to be fixed (speaking as someone who doesnât live in California), I unfortunately donât think it would work to tie that voter reform to fixing the wildfire problem;
I agree that any aid shouldnât be given freely, but I think it would be better tied to California fixing the stuff that allowed the fire to be as bad as it is in the first place. Stuff like the terrible policies on controlled burning and the environmental policies that ensured the firefighters didnât have any water to fight the fire with.
CA had the responsibility to build a reservoir since 2014 but never did it. They cannot keep promises as ling as Democrats manage the state. You cannot trust them. They will steal the money. And politicize this. It needs voter integrity.
Tie aid to the resignation of Newsome and the mayor.
I think it is a wonderful idea. The worse that could happen is that it would not be voted in. The best is that it will set a precident for other states to clean up their act if they want government money (for anything). If the Federal government gets hurt because election integrity within the states is compromised, then the Federal government has every right to place conditions on the money it gives out. The only issue might be that CA could scream âdiscriminationâ because it is being singled out in this case, so the policy might be worded in such a way where the state is not specifically mentioned, but absolutely falls into the target list. My two cents.
So withhold FEMA aid from in need US citizens because we donât agree with their local politicians? Iâm all for eliminating/reducing aid to those living in high risk areas (CA, Gulf coast, any flood plain) but it canât be contingent on local government bending to the will of those from other states.
If you twisted the policy posterâs statement any further, it would snap. What is more, that old political rhetoric which you just posted doesnât have the desired effect anymore â by pointing to the meany-weenie CA politicians when CA screws over itself and the rest of the country, and then suddenly pointing to the poor and hapless needy CA residents when national taxpayer money is required to fix the in-state screw-ups that it created for itself. (e.g. the sick CA love fetish with a long-since extinct sardine (delta smelt - aka: mascot of the CA âgreeniesâ) which caused the entire city of LA to burn down from lack of reserved water - and coincidentally, just in time for âre-imaginedâ dystopian stack-um-and-packâum Communist Smart City construction). The rest of America is on to this socialist political game-playing that is draining national resources at a blistering pace. CAâs âself-destructive/innocent victim/secretly evilâ game is over.
[Side note: The rest of the country still wants its taxpayer monies back for that âhigh-speed rail systemâ that CA promised to, but NEVER BUILT, even though CA burned through all of the loan and now want even more national money to âre-imagineâ finishing it].
And in all brutal honesty, with as much criminal communist technocratic carbon credit climate change election interferring libtard âAmerica Last/China Firstâ policies coming out of states like CA, which adversely affect the rest of the states at the national level, most of the rest of the country is pretty fed up with these rogue destuctive states and their rotting third-world unpatriotic cities that they have purposely and successfully âre-imaginedâ, and dont mind the idea of restricting our cherished national resources in order to foment change and reduce the fiscal and liberty burdens on the rest of us.
The politicians in these hell-holes didnât put THEMSELVES in office â âsocialist-indoctrinated America Lastâ U.S. citizens voted them in there. So many at this stage would love to see a squeeze put on CA regarding Federal funds, so that the people clean the âFabian Socialist Chinese-compromisedâ trash out of their governments and stop having them indirectly crapping all over the rest of us red-blooded American patriots at the federal level.
CA is much akin to the unruly neighbor in the neighborhood that throws its trash all over the yard and burns foul debris, stinking up the entire neighborhood, and then complains to the city why it is not sending more garbage trucks and trash collectors to come clean up the royally âre-imaginedâ trash-heap-of-a-yard. And that is why I have no reserves with supporting this policy; and, I am quite comfortable in saying that millions of us from every non-craphole America-First state feel the same.
CA has become a national âproblem childâ for the rest of us; and a gentle squeezing of the national purse strings might go a long way to fixing the issue for the greatest number and the greatest good. One might be surprised to see how EVERYONE fairs better when the national âproblem childâ gets a well-deserved ânational spankingâ. Everybody knows when it comes time to âstarve the beastâ. We are reaching that point. Maybe we can âre-imagineâ some of those âproblem child revenue choke pointsâ in President Trumpâs newly-created national tariff income system.
Thank you! Looks like Trump agreed today!
