I’m 100% disabled in 3 states. I physically and mentally cannot get a job. I worked what I could before my body gave out on me 10 years ago. I fought and won my disability case. They gave me SSDI because I didn’t work enough in my life to earn credits. A year ago they took my Medicaid because my husband makes too much money. My disability should have nothing to do with my spouse. My disability is for me because I can’t get a job myself and if I was single I would get my check along with the medical and probably food stamps so why can I not at least get the check along with the medical now? They need to change this. My poor husband had to pick up a second job just for us to try to make ends meet because I can’t get out there myself! This is a problem I have heard many people in my same situation have a problem with. Our disability is for ourselves and should have no concern and not be waged on any other individual! Please fix this! I fought in court and paid my lawyer so I should not have my disability be taken away because of my spouse.
