It has been known since the 1920s that type two diabetes can be reversed using low fat high carb plant based nutrition. Research has proven OVER AND OVER again that dietary fat inhibits insulin function and cellular uptake of glucose. The pharmaceutical run medical industry continues to disseminate outdated and false dogma that diabetes in incurable. However research by many physicians and research professionals including James Anderson, Cyrus Khambatta, Robby Barbaro, Dean Ornish, Neal Barnard, et al have PROVEN that medication and low carb diets only control blood glucose in the short term because of the removal of carbs. They have shown that lowering dietary fat intake with a low fat high carb Whole Foods plant based diet not only reverses most types of diabetes but also increases insulin sensitivity in T1Ds. The fact that diabetics worldwide aren’t told this by their doctors and in fact are told that it can’t be reversed is criminal, funds the pharmaceutical industry, and increases risk of diabetics from dying from other diseases like cardiovascular disease and cancer.
