Destruction of trees for Urban Development

Every year Billions of trees are cut down and destroyed for Urban Development and only a Quarter of the trees are replaced. There are so many Benefits for the Climate for these trees to get replaced that are destroyed. Trees help to cool down the Landscape by offering shade instead of all the Concrete-Pavement that retains the heat from the day. Also trees absorb CO2 and they give off Oxygen. For every tree that is destroyed for Development or New housinng, it should be Required to replace each tree with the planting of 5 Trees within a 2 mile Radius of where the trees were cut down at to help with Climate change and CO2 levels. The Governing City of the Development will be Responsible for the Cost and Replanting of the Trees before any Trees are destroyed for the Development. Example, if a new development is going desroy 5 acres of trees, the City must count every tree on the 5 acres and Musy replant 5 trees for every tree being destroyed before any work can begin on those 5 Acres within a 2 mile Radious of the New Development.
