I believe that deportations should be for any illegal immigrants that have committed any serious crimes in the country after arriving. So if an illegal immigrant is here that is a criminal, then they should be the ones with top priority to be deported, while having other options for ones that haven’t committed crimes.
There are a lot of illegal immigrants here that are genuinely good people and some of the best workers as well. So if there illegal immigrants here that have shown they want to be here for the opportunity that we have, “The American Dream,” and they have paid their appropriate taxes, or they have proved to be good “citizens” or a benefit to be here, then they should have the opportunity to get citizenship. There can definitely be a process that they can go through or have them pay a reasonable fee, or both, to obtain citizenship.
