Credit Report Forgiveness under Biden Administration

I believe our economy would strongly benefit from excluding or forgiving all delinquent payments of debt and reports of debt that have been turned into collection agencies while under the Biden/Harris administration. This is not a request for a free pass on debt, rather than a fresh start with credit reports to pay it once inflation has decreased and people can afford to pay off their debt. I am a single mother, in nursing school and also a youth minister. I went into severe debt trying to live and feed my child under the Biden/Harris administration. Not only did I go into debt but I was also turned into collection agencies because I couldn’t afford to make appropriate payments and my credit was destroyed. Now I am unable to contribute to the economy because my credit is so bad. I can’t get a home for my child, I can’t get a reliable vehicle, I can’t start a business, I can’t secure employment (for the companies that like to check credit reports), I can’t qualify for loan to use for investments either. I am unable to contribute economically because my credit was absolutely destroyed during the Biden/Harris administration. It is not that I don’t want to pay off my debt, I have no problem doing that. It’s that I’d like a credit report restart so I can advance forward when inflation subsides and I can afford to make payments on my debt. Maybe implement a screening process to vet why people went into debt and were unable to make payments or only excuse the debt that was turned in under the Biden/Harris administration. Possibly create a government plan that collects debt, and requires payments through that portal to keep refreshed credit in good standing once inflation has gone down. This would change the lives of middle class Americans who were forced to choice between bad credit and survival within the past few years. The working class who chose not to pay credit card debt but instead buy groceries for their family that week. The middle class who had to let things go back because inflation put them in a place of choosing survival over a second vehicle. The single mother who went into debt and became delinquent to further her education and obtain a degree under the Biden/Harris administration because she knew her and her child would be homeless if she couldn’t secure a job that allowed for still and yet just getting by… the upstanding citizen that had to choose to keep the lights on in their home over paying a ticket and now they are behind bars because they couldn’t pay the ticket… but that’s a request for another time. I personally believe that this would help us get back on our feet after being drug through the mud. Thank you for your time.
