Cover NaPro Fertility Technology - the only fertility treatment free of moral reservations for Christians

Trump seeks to have IVF treatments covered by insurance, however, there is a large percentage of Catholics who cannot participate in IVF, as well as many other Orthodox and even some Protestant Christians who have deep reservations about IVF treatment.
Natural Procreative Technology (NaProTECHNOLOGY) is a method of treating women’s reproductive health that focuses on restoring hormonal balance and fertility.

NaPro differs from traditional fertility care in that it:

  • Views fertility as a gift and state of health
  • Focuses on identifying and treating the underlying causes of problems
  • Avoids artificial hormones and invasive procedures

NaPro providers are trained and certified by the Saint Paul VI Institute in Omaha, Nebraska. They use the Creighton Model Fertility Method to understand and diagnose a woman’s fertility cycle. However, you do not have to use the Creighton Method to receive NaPro care.

NaPro is a safe and effective method for patients who may not want to use artificial reproductive technologies or in vitro fertilization (IVF). And there are no abortions or discarding of embryos that result from it as there often are with IVF.

Please, if we are going to cover IVF, let us please cover this too.
