All corporations should be banned from donating money to politicians which generally is to push their agendas. These huge donations are far to tempting to politicians and result in suppression of the voices of “We the People”, as the average citizen doesn’t have those kinds of resources to make their voice heard.
Elections should not be decided by who has the largest financial backing. In fact, with each of these elections, billions of dollars are wasted trying to get “their man/woman” into power. Elections should be decided solely on the policies the politicians brings to the table. The only way we are going to get back to that is stop the propaganda. Donation’s should be limited to $100 per person as well. This means millionaires and billionaires have no louder of a voice to sway politicians than the average American citizen.
No longer would politicians be able to get elected on whom has the most air time on TV or the most billboards.
Any politician caught violating these rules, will automatically be removed from office and forfeit any rights to hold office in the future.
Any corporation, millionaire or billionaire found violating these laws will receive a fine at 100 times whatever their donation was. If they refuse to pay it or can’t pay it, their assets will be seized by a judge and auctioned off to pay the fines.
