There should be a constitutional amendment that limits the total laws that congress can write and have active to 5 Megabytes of human readable ASCII text. This will force congress to prioritize the laws that they have and only regulate the items which are most important to regulate at the federal level. By only have 5 Megabytes this is equivalent to ~2500 pages. This will mean that once it is filled any new law that is enacted will only happen by freeing up space by deleting less important laws.

Can we stop bundling legislation together into one bill? They need to vote on one thing at a time and stop slipping other unrelated legislation into a bill. Talk about lack of transparancy.
