D0GE Site has ample evidence of Trump’s accomplishments thusfar – I am sure you will go check it out. The corruption cleanup is happening right before your very eyes. At this rate, he will be declaring victory against the Deep State in less than 6 months.
I will, but we will have to wait until trump leaves to see that
It’s also discriminatory to base a decision on age.
Focus on term limits. I also believe it needs to be an amendment to the Constitution and not just a bill.
Two terms for any federally elected official regardless of the position. Short and sweet and to the direct point.
Term limits seems to be the answer but it misses the problem. The Federal Government has exceeded its authority under Article ,One. They have put their noses into every aspect of our lives. Hence we have waste and abuse beyond our ability to pay for it. Convention of States has proposed topics Term limits on all federal employees.
for a Convention of the States would go along way to solve the problem.
1} Term limits on all federal employes.
2] fiscal restraint to choke off the funding of the deep state
3] limiting the size, scope and jurisdiction of the federal government
Only by attacking the problem on all three fronts will we be able to restore self governance
I used to agree but I have seen first hand the results in Florida. The winners are the administrative ‘state’ that has no such limits. Each year we send new legislators to the capitol charged with little experience to make laws. The administrators are actually running everything on a daily basis. It is not good. Fair warning: I voted against term limits in Florida.
And, at 81 myself, my blood boils every time some idiot suggests age determines competence. IT DOESN’T! Mental acuity, which can be measured, does. I would support mandatory cognitive examinations for ALL politicians at ALL levels of government, regardless of age. Let the results determine direction, not an abritrary age limit.
And the voters that put them there?
I agree, but it needs to go further, return us to the way we did it originally. Congress should be in session 4 months a year. They have that time to do their jobs as public servants. Their pay is only to subsidise their time away from their current jobs (only paid for the actual days spent in Washington). When not IN D.C., they are required to maintain meaningful employment in their respective districts, dealing with their constituents daily, this will keep them grounded. In order to have the honor of serving the people of their districts, they must agree to annual audits of their financial records the entire time they’re in office (a CPA would be assigned to them so that they can focus on the job at hand), and for 4 years following government service. Any inconsistencies are to be investigated and if found to be criminal, they will serve time if found guilty in a publicly held trial in their respective districts. They forfeit their rights to contribute to any and all elected positions that would have the potential to aid them in pilfering from the American people (judges, sheriffs, political parties, etc.). Their “retirement” pay after they leave office will be a percentage of their annual government pay based on their favorability rating (i.e. a 40% favorability will gain them 40% of whatever they were making annually from the government in those 4 months).
Besides term limits, we should know the names of the people who used the fund they created to pay off people they sexually molested.
DOGE should be making that public
You make absolutely no sense. If he cleans it up in six months, then why would you wait Trump’s entire four year term to go confirm it? Sounds like some serious TDS on your part. Good luck with that.
Agreed. Well stated.
I completely agree with you that a Convention of States would be the best option. I have only read a little bit about this, but believe it may be a way to correct the harm Washington bureaucrats routinely cause.
You’re best resource is to can go to conventionofstatesaction.com and look at their pocket guide and simulation tag. If you hit the simulation tag it will drop yuo down to a tag for resources tap it and you can see some of the proposals that came from a 2023 simulated convention in Wialiamsburg VA. Washington is incapable of solving the problem and find
I completely agree with your statement. Those involved should have to pay the amounts back to the government.
Can anything really be done about Congress? I hope someone smarter than me, can figure out a way out of the stronghold Congress has over our country, because anything that has to have Congressional approval, will not get done. Fact.
Yes, we have a military that can resolve the issue. The President is not also called “Commander-In-Chief” because it sounds swanky – it is because he heads our armed forces.
The solution you seek is quite simple – Once DOGE completes its findings of Congressional fraud kickback, money-laundering, and illicit payment schemes of govt revenue to shell corporations and ngos who exist primarly to enrich Congressional reps and staff, then the military needs to arrest these members for treason and sedition, hold military tribunals, and dispose of them accordingly, while new elections are held and a new Congress is formed – a new Congress who would be too afraid to repeat with the last batch of “disposed” Congressional garbage did.
It is that simple. Our Founding Fathers made it simple for this very reason – because they new that even then, power and position corrupts many, as it now does. They advised future generations of Americans that we have a solumn DUTY to throw off such governments, when this occurs, and create a new one (including a new Congress). All of this was expected more than 200 years in advance – we should not be shocked by it. We should simply follow the instructions given us by our Founding Fathers – its clearly in black and white, in America’s “owner’s manual”. Hope that helps.

Oh lord, have you stopped to consider that your very own “range of media consumption” Is what is incorrect with your thinking. You aren’t looking into things yourself; you instead listen to a plethora of talking heads who have been demonstrably false on many occasions to tell you what’s going on.
Agreed James. Bananas is the typical leftist idiot out in society who cannot even come to terms that DOGE has uncovered a corrupt and broken governmental institution that would have eventually destroyed everything that all of us have in the world. Their entire world is dictated by CIA-controlled New World Order leftist marxist communist media propaganda stations, and they believe that they are on top of the situation because they know what these America-Last news outlets are spoon-feeding them. They live a fantastic bubble of lies and would not wake up until the entire country was destroyed and they had a Chinese soldier’s rifle sticking in their face. Only then, they would break down in tears and finally wake up.
These are useless people and should be considered dead weight. All throughout History, during all conflict and calls to action, these useless, selfish, ignorant, and bone-headed percentages of every population have shown themselves to the rest of their peers. Approx. 15-20% of every culture all throughout History has shown to have had them. Patriots need to simply step over them on the way to rebuilding our homeland, sorry to say. Let them rot where they lay, since they will only slow down progress and even attempt to cast a collective doubt on common sense.
They think that “regression” is “progressive”, up is down, left is right, XX=XY, 2+2=5, China is a caring and loving democracy, the element “carbon” should have a tax in order to save the planet from exploding, grown people may have sex with children, eating bugs and owning nothing makes one happy, women should rule the roost and fight in foxholes, criminals from other countries have Constitutional Rights, banning the second Amendment makes us safer, taxes pay for roads and schools, censoring protects free speech, mRNA and COVID are acceptable, DOGE audits are wasteful, children should tell parents what to do, Orange Man is bad - no matter what good he does, Russia-Russia-Russia was Truth yet China-China-China is a nothing-burger, masculinity is toxic, but trapsing around like a flaming fruitcake is somehow a “paternalistic role model”; and finally, that all white males should be completely removed from society. These weak people in our society (like Bananas) were programmed to believe these lies by their cultural marxist media propagandist “handlers” like CPB, NPR, CNBC, BBC, BET, HBO, ABC, CBS, Disney, CNN, NBC, etc.
They even try to convince others to watch this mind control programming by insisting that one becomes more “well-rounded in conversation” by watching this manipulative marxist garbage. Weak minds, they have – already lost. They have absolutely no clue that they have been completely brain-washed by deliberate, continued, and controlled exposure to cultural marxist programming. They haven’t a CLUE – walking zombies pretending to be well-educated. This section of the population always provides a drain on the rest of any society. History is filled with this sort of useless and weak-minded individual, always thinking to know what is best, when, unbeknownst to him/her/it; they represent the most pathetic of Humanity. Recently, we have developed unique names for them: “Karens, Kens & Cucks” – all noisy but collectively useless dead weight. These people are truly sick and beyond redemption.
As you can see, the main stream marxist propaganda only works on weak people – not the majority of society. Thus, their mission failed miserably; and now the entire Deep State is collapsing as the Sleeping Giant again stirs. I would hate to be “them”, right about now. My two cents. ![]()
