The Constitution says they “shall make no law” that entitles them to better than WTP can get.
I ABSOLUTELY agree with you!
I agree with this one, 100%!!
I will definitely check it out and get back to you on it!
Thanks! I look forward to your comments.
I absolutely agree with you. This is a fundamental principle that is overlooked. We must keep in mind that the Government only exist to serve the people. There will be no special privileges for government workers. Nothing any different than what exist for the general population.
No Health Care, No Financial benefits, No Insider Trading, No Abuse of Power, No Fiscal irresponsibility. NONE!
Great… I look forward to your comments!
They should also get the median pay. We can give them an additional $5,000 per year maybe… They have a hard job.
100% Agree!! They should only be offered the SAME healthcare that we are. They are certainly welcome to go out and PURCHASE their own / different health insurance, but anything they get “automatically” as a condition of their position, should be IDENTICAL!
I love this and lets take it back to the way it was. They want to be in congress or senate fine get voted in and go but we do not pay them to spend our money. We do not pay them to make rules and regulations. Finally just because they served does not mean they get a pension, use SSI as we all do. Oh yea and remove it from all that currently get it or give it to every American citizen.
What we do is trust them to represent us and that is and always should be a volunteer position.
We are forced to get our healthcare through marketplace, our employer or senior citizens on Medicare, etc. We don’t have the options of getting special custom-made, premium benefits. They should have the same exact options as the American people no special benefits package for anyone other than the president, the vice president and their families.
As a retired architect of corporate single payer systems and a 35 year quest for a universal healthcare system…you get my vote. You will see a proposal from me soon as I figure out how to do it. LOL…Best wishes.
Universal healthcare is simple. Making it work is hard. It will be a 3 year process if we start now. You will see a proposal from me soon in terms of what is needed to get the ball rolling. Best wishes, www.unitedstatesuniversalsystem.wordpress.com
Got it. www.unitedstatesuniversalsystem,wordpress.com Just as you described and costs MUCH less!
Agreed
It baffles me too…
