Our country would be less divided if we had a press corps that reported honestly and fairly - especially on foreign wars and health.
We need to clearly label misleading, incomplete and/or false statements by ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, FOX, etc. in real time
A great use of AI would be real-time, accurate fact checks that ran as a banner below the commentators. For Radio: Perhaps a mandatory tally of lies told at the end of the broadcast with clarification.
There should also be criminal penalties for ongoing, malicious lying to the public unless the outlet is clearly labeled as ‘entertainment’. I believe our current media has some immunity from prosecution now, that should be eliminated asap.
