I propose that any and all abuse inflicted upon a child from any family member, relative, or outside party whether related or not, should be taken very serious and if convicted should pay a high penalty of monetary damages and serve jail time.
Abuse should not only be limited to sexual abuse. It should be any type of abuse: physical, emotional, psychological, medical, mental or any other form of pain, damage, and infliction of terror on someone’s free will and well being.
If someone is convicted they should be stripped of all immunity and pursued to the highest extent of the law and held fully accountable if convicted of this crime.
There should be no statute of limitation of these sorts of matters and they should always think about how this sort of infliction of abuse can permanently damage a child and prevent their emotional growth, safety, mental stability, and progress toward being an active responsible member of society.
