We should not be afraid of our food. The premise behind Cause No Harm would be for food growers and producers to be held accountable for harmful additives and pesticides used in production. Profits will no longer be the driving factor in production. Food production will be for the good of humanity.
In the basic sense, if the end product is bad for you, due to ingredients or treatments, the producer will be held criminally liable. This should include all participants in the process. This will encourage whistleblowers at every step to come forward when nefarious activities occurs. By including everyone in the process as the liable party, it will remove plausible deniability for all employees involved.
Cause No Harm should be for all consumable products that has an opportunity for harmful chemicals to be introduced. This would include fruits, vegetables, all food ingredients, healthcare products, cleaning products, etc.
This would also include processes that degrade food quality or nutrition, like pasteurization, radiation, microwaves, ripening agents, etc.
Cause No Harm would be a common sense approach to save humanity from large corporations with nefarious agendas.
